This article reviews the book Glamour is Theft: A User’s Guide to General Idea by Philip Monk, published by the Art Gallery of York University Press (2013). The book suggests that the artist collective General Idea did not simply produce artworks, but that all of their activities created a vast mythic system.

The article reviews the textile fabrics exhibition “Textiles: Art and the Social Fabric” which displayed avant-garde works related to the 20th century, at Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst Antwerpen (MUHKA) in Antwerp, Belgium.
