C Mag

Supporters

As a friend of C Magazine, you are committed to nurturing meaningful and imaginative conversations about Canadian contemporary art. For four decades, your support has helped sustain an essential platform for critical debate and education about visual art in Canada by:

  • Developing Canadian art criticism for a worldwide audience.
  • Expanding the online experience to increase the visibility of Canadian art.
  • Mentoring and building the careers of emerging artists and art writers.
  • Presenting public programs that stimulate and educate.

Your contributions in 2023 enhanced our new online C Magazine experience, where artists and writers will inspire reflection and criticism, and elevate thoughtful conversations around Canadian contemporary art, in dialogue with international artists and practices.

Your support will also address our shared racist and colonial histories, and ensure the meaningful inclusion of the diverse communities involved in contemporary art. Thanks to you, more voices will have an accessible platform on which to publish their work and be paid fairly for it!

Your subscription or gift contributes to a vital forum for significant ideas in contemporary art – something we need now more than ever, as the Canadian cultural industry rebuilds in the context of an ongoing pandemic.

C Magazine and C The Visual Arts Foundation gratefully acknowledge our donors both public and private. Charitable tax no. 88643 1162 RR0001. Donors will be recognized annually in print in C Magazine, and here on our website.
