Jaimie Isaac describes her efforts to Indigenize the collection at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Isaac hopes that the ongoing process of museological reform will lead to further representation of under-, mis-, and never-represented artists, and asserts that only by acknowledging the systemic mindset of colonial exclusion can we enact change.
