Artists Miguel Calderón and Yoshua Okon opened the exhibition space La Panaderia in 1994. At first operated like a collective with an open venue, it now has a more serious function. On-site apartments for visitors insure an international reputation. It continues to support emerging artists and marginalized art practices.
