The article focuses on Bulgarian artist Ivan Moudov and his work “Fragments,” which is made of pieces of other artists' works and is reminiscent of artist Marcel Duchamp's work, “Boîte-en-valise.” The article discusses the lack of a contemporary art museum in Bulgaria, the black market antiquities trade in Bulgaria and Moudov's works “Creation of a Museum of Contemporary Art in Bulgaria” and “Guide” and his creation of the Bulgarian Institute of Culture in Hamburg, Germany as part of a public art festival.
