Join us for a conversation between Mo Glitch and Liliona Quarmyne, the artist and curator behind the artist project for C157 and the dolls who pose in playful, messy entanglements for the opening pages of the issue. Titled proxy, Glitch's series of photographs both enact and exceed human worlds.

Glitch and Quarmyne's discussion will elaborate on the project and the ways it troubles our distinction between reality and representation. As Quarmyne reflects in her curatorial text—also a tender meditation on the pair's creative partnership—the dolls “inhabit and enact a world we have yet to see…and yet they are also part of the world in which we live. A world of constant negotiation.”
