Euginia Kisin and Amish Morrell compiled 13 brief accounts of individuals who have participated in walking-based projects. Public space, landscape, memory and representation are some of the many themes discussed in relation to these projects, with numerous perspectives producing multiple accounts and interpretations of the projects discussed.

This section presents an inventory of items and sites related to living under surveillance states and societies, including: Adam Harvey and Johanna Bloomfield’s Off Pocket Phone case, which blocks all wireless signals to make the user’s phone untrackable; the books Dutch Landscapes by Mishka Henner, Drone: The Automated Image edited by Paul Wombewll, and Failed States by Jill Magid; the Centre for Surveillance Studies at Queen’s University, the Surveillance Camera Awareness Network, and University College London’s Materials Library at the Institute of Making.
