The article discusses the highlights of the 2008 International Association of Curators of Contemporary Art (1KT) Congress held in Montréal, Québec in May 2008. 1KT was established by the late Harald Szeeman in order to stimulate innovation and debate within art curatorial practice. “Economy and the Visual Arts,” served as the topic for the 2008 panel discussion. Attendees' activities include members' forum, visits to exhibition spaces in Montreal and a day trip to exhibitions in Québec City.
