This is an artwork by James Bridle which is a collection of digital, unpeopled reconstructions of British sites related to immigration, judgement, detention and deportation. These places are “unphotographable” and inaccessible to the public. The title “Seamless Transition” is antithetical to the verbal and written accounts of these places used to visually render these works as they describe “maze-like, bureaucratic architecture, fluorescent lights and scores of people.”
